Biofuels
Biofuels are renewable fuels derived from organic materials such as crops, waste oils, or algae. They can be used in place of or blended with traditional fossil fuels in vehicles, heating systems, and power generation. Biofuels offer the advantage of reduced greenhouse gas emissions, as the carbon dioxide released during combustion is offset by the carbon dioxide absorbed during the growth of the biomass. This makes them a sustainable alternative to fossil fuels.
